Oito Goa is a contemporary European restaurant located in Caranzalem, Panjim, Goa. Launched in 2025 and helmed by chef Viraf Patel and his wife, Prakriti Lama Patel, Oito offers a refined and relaxed dining experience celebrating the bounty of the air, the land and the sea.
Viraf’s culinary philosophy is rooted in a deep respect for ingredients and a refined focus on technique. With a rich understanding of soulful cuisine, global flavors, and the intricacies of both ingredients and methods, he consistently seeks to uncover the origins of dishes and reinterpret them for a contemporary audience.
His dedication and persistence have led to significant achievements, including founding the beloved Café Zoe in Mumbai and shaping The Table in Colaba into one of India’s premier standalone fine-dining destinations.
The restaurant’s name, “Oito,” meaning “eight” in Portuguese, symbolizes infinity and reflects their commitment to continuous culinary creativity.
