“Speak-easies” have always existed, no matter who first called them by that name. They have been “holes in the wall” and various other things descriptive of their leading peculiarities, but it is only within very recent times, and in the city of Pittsburgh, that they have been dubbed “speak-easies”
Different names for speakeasies like “blind pig” and “blind tiger” were applied to establishments that sold alcoholic beverages illegally, and they are still in use today.

Thanks to the founder of Typology, Ning Li, I had the opportunity to support the brand for 2 years in-house as the brand’s Art Director.
Typology Paris is a cosmetic brand design and produced in a mimalistic approach.
From the ingredient list to the whole indetity and photography.
When it comes to storytelling, photography or packaging, we had to have the same approach. We decided to cut out anything unnecessary as much as possible and focused only on what was essential. That means having simple yet expressive layouts.
To represent the core of the product; texture, ingredients and efficiency.
No fakes promises, nothing extra. Staying true to the philosophy of simplicity and transparency, we intended to remain uncompromising in our mission to offer consumers a premium natural skincare alternative.

Conceived, developed, and run by Leo Michaud and Dayini Feraud, Baba au Rhum opened in 2006 and has, over the years, created a niche for itself in Goa.
Baba au Rhum was founded at a time when North Goa’s busy beach towns offered limited dining options for its international visitors and global residents. What began as a small café set in a quaint neighborhood in Arpora serving sandwiches and salads, has now become one of the most popular all-day dining places in Goa offering an extensive menu with a variety of delectable plates.

Baba au Rhum is idyllically located near Bamboo Forest on the Anjuna – Baga backstreet. The café is charming, serene, and blissfully laidback.
